By using Point de Genie, you agree to the terms below. They are short because the site is simple: there are no accounts, no payments, and no user-submitted content. 1. Use of the site

The site is offered free of charge, for entertainment. You may play as much as you like, on as many devices as you like. We only ask that you not try to disrupt it for others, and that you not present it as your own.

2. No gambling

None of the four games involves a wager, a prize, a drawing, a virtual currency, or a purchase. Best scores and streaks cannot be exchanged for anything and stay on your device. Because there is no consideration, no prize, and the outcome depends on skill, the games are not gambling, a lottery, or a sweepstakes under state gambling, sweepstakes and contest laws or the federal Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act (UIGEA). This site is not a gambling service and is not a gateway to one.

3. Intellectual property

The code, text, illustrations, and puzzle generators are ours and remain our property, protected by the U.S. Copyright Act (Title 17 U.S.C.). You may play them and talk about them freely; you may not republish them as your own work. If you believe something on this site infringes your copyright, send a DMCA notice to [email protected].

4. No affiliation

The four games belong to well-established genres. We name those genres so you know what you are playing, not to suggest a connection that doesn't exist.

• Simon is a registered trademark of Hasbro. Our memory game is called Sequence and has no connection with Hasbro.
• Flood-It is a registered trademark of LabPixies (Google). Our fill puzzle is called Flood and its solver is our own. No connection with Google.
• Pipe Mania is a registered trademark of Empire Interactive and its successors. Our game is called Pipes, belongs to the “Net” genre of games (you rotate the pipes; you don't fill them against the clock), and has no connection with those companies.
• The maze and the flood puzzle are genres, not trademarks. Our grids are generated by our own code.

5. No warranty

The site is provided “as is”. We test it seriously—each game's rules are covered by automated tests—but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, a total absence of bugs, or compatibility with every browser past and future.

6. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages arising from use of the site. Since the site is free and collects no personal information, the exposure on both sides is slim.

7. Content kept on your device

Your best scores and your streak live in your browser's local storage. Clearing that storage erases them permanently. We keep no copy and therefore cannot restore them.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alaska and applicable U.S. federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes go to the state or federal courts located in Anchorage, Alaska. Nothing here limits non-waivable consumer rights you have under the laws of your state of residence.
